So, there's a fwe different options as far as venues for the wedding. The First, and possibly most viable based on Daniel's verdict is Kubota Garden. I really have to call them and see how much it would be... But it is a public park, so I doubt it will be that much.
Pros:
- GORGEOUS (photo on the left is one i shot from there... not exactly where i think the weddings happen, but still)
- Cheap (?)
- Garden area.. which i love, in a weird way.
Cons:
- If it rains... it pours. Unless the major wedding favor for people is an umbrella! Though I personally like rain. but anyway.
if we went ahead with Kubota, we couldnt really do the reception there... but there is a cool place called Q Cafe. This is a little not for profit cafe, if i remember right.. and they rent out the space.
Pros:
- Cute, in a weird way.
- Looks basically predecorated?
- We could hire a barista, for 10$ an hour.. I doubt this includes the price of drinks, but it leaves options open...
- Cheap. Base rate is 100$ per hour, plus having required people... so, at least 15. If we kept the audio guy and the barista, its 140 per hour.

Cons:
- Somewhere in seattle. Who knows where, right? Well, I am sure I could look, right? But still. haha.

- Maybbbbbe kind of small? I dont know. It seats 100 if everyone is sitting, it sits like.. 240 if standing. I dont know how they would feel about bringing in food.
But costs an estimated 10k. Now, that might be including all of their own venues.. well, most of them. catering, and flowers, and all.. however, this is unknown for certain, and i think i can get a better deal. sounds like the 10k is for convenience. so... yeah.
But, can host the reception here. And the last.. so far, at least, Thornewood Castle. Another castle (ha, ha, i know.)

Which is a venue, in and of itself. And its season hours are like 3.5k. Off season, in winter, is 2.9 or something. So, really expensive for something unnecessary.
However, it has indoor and outdoor places, and it also can host the reception
